TAMAYA GARCIA

Tamaya Garcia is an accomplished fundraising and business development leader with over 18 years of experience driving strategic growth and securing transformational partnerships across the nonprofit and social impact sectors. Her ability to build mission-aligned relationships and design innovative partnerships has resulted in hundreds of young people gaining access to life-changing educational programs, mentorship opportunities, and pathways to economic mobility.

Tamaya brings a values-driven approach to her work, rooted in equity, empathy, and impact. With a Master’s in Public Administration from Baruch College and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from San Francisco State, Tamaya blends strategic thinking with cultural fluency and a deep commitment to social justice. She is a National Urban Fellow and has participated in multiple leadership fellowships dedicated to advocacy, healing, and systemic change.
